Virtual Pre-Applicant Open Day – 2nd October
The faculty saw 128 students attend our final Pre-Applicant online offering, and a 77.5% attendance rate. Students engaged positively with the live sessions and initial feedback suggested they both enjoyed the offering and found it worthwhile and useful.
On-campus Pre-Applicant Open Day – 23rd October
The faculty hosted it’s final on-campus Pre-Applicant Open Day on Saturday 23rd October, in which 421 prospective students and 443 guests have booked. There was a student-ambassador led exhibition in the Medical School and tours of the Dental School, as well as course talks, delivered throughout the day.
Intercalation Fair – 18th November
The faculties annual Intercalation Fair will take place online, on Thursday 18th November. Based on the high attendance of last year’s fair, and the excellent feedback, this year’s event will also be online. There will be upwards of 80 live sessions for various research and surgery projects, as well as PGT courses, for internal and external prospective students to browse through.
PGT Open Day and PGR Open Evening – 16th and 24th November
The next online PGT Open Day will take place on Wednesday 24th November. The Open Day will be hosted on the new online platform, Revolution Viewing, where our recent online Undergraduate days have taken place. The faculty’s digital PGT content – student videos, course overviews, vlogs and blogs – have all been moved across the Revolution Viewing to enhance the student experience.
The PGR Open Evening will take place on 16th November, on our internal dedicated PGT Open Evening web page. The faculty will be represented by both staff members and current PhD student representatives.
