Preventing and Tackling Mental Ill Health through Green Social Prescribing Project Evaluation

A team of researchers across ScHARR, the Department of Landscape and the Health Sciences School, in collaboration with Consortium partners from the University of Exeter and Sheffield Hallam University have been successful in obtaining funding to undertake an evaluation of seven Green Social Prescribing pilots in a variety of locations across England.  This is the first knowledge exchange bid, excluding training, that has been submitted as part of a consortium and been successful.  The evaluation is funded by Defra and has a total budget of £1.1m. The consortium is led by  Dr Annette Haywood (ScHARR, Public Health) .
