IPEM Academic Early Career Award

Congratulations to Dr Bilal Tahir (YCR Connects Senior Fellow in Cancer and Lung Imaging, Department of Oncology & Metabolism) who was recently awarded the IPEM (Institute of Physics and Engineering in Medicine)  Early Career Academic Award, the most prestigious award for an academic medical physicist within 12 years of their career.  The award is made to an early career member who has made a significant contribution to the advancement of Academic practice; related to physics and engineering applied to medicine and biology.   The award which was presented at the IPEM’s Medical Physics and Engineering Conference in September in Brisol, consists of a certificate, medal and prize of £300.
