Dr Claudia Tulotta (Postdoctoral Research Associate in Department Oncology and Metabolism) awarded poster prize at the Cancer and Bone society (CABS) meeting

In the poster, the role of tumour-derived interleukin 1B (IL-1B) in breast cancer metastasis was presented. This is her second poster prize this year, after the non-clinical poster prize awarded at the 1st Interdisciplinary Breast Cancer Symposium (Manchester, 15-16 January 2018), where the effect of combining anti-IL1 therapy with standard of care for the treatment of metastatic breast cancer was discussed.

These awards are the results of a great team work. The support offered by the Ottewell’s team is invaluable!
